Rex McGuire       Rex is one of the few natives in our little family, born and raised in Mountain Home, Arkansas, only leaving for four years to serve his country, in the United States Air Force.         He taught himself to play the fiddle when he was fifteen years old, and is part of a musical family.     If the topic of conversation  is local music, sooner or later you'll hear the name McGuire. They have played in the Twin Lakes area, all their lives.     And if you've ever attended one of our Monday night shows, you know that the crowd goes wild when Rex breaks into his signature song, The Orange Blossom Special. And if your foot's not tapping, and your hands clapping, then check your pulse!     Rex has been married to his lovely wife Charlene, for  fifty one years.     They have a daughter, a son, and four grand children.      His love of music and life, flows from the strings of his fiddle, and shows in his wonderful smile, and we're very pleased to have him as part of our musical family.                                                                                            ~Bobby Smith
