Frank Narramore, Sr I was born June, 7 1937 near Yellville, Ar., I graduated from Yellville, Summit High school, and then spent 6 years in the Army National Guard, (Sgt) I was married when 21 and have two children a son and a daughter. I spent 44 years in the Cable tv, television sales and service, appliance sales and service in Yellville. My interests are Amateur radio, Radio controlled airplanes, computers, and most of all music. As a child my mom tried to teach me the guitar and gave up, but in later years I taught myself, the guitar and dobro. I have built 4 dobros, two fiddles, and I'm now in the process of building a guitar. I now play at all the jam sessions I can find, and play at nursing homes with some of the group from Bull Shoals , and best of all the Monday Night Jamboree, at Bull Shoals. ~Frank Frank was one of the first musician/singers, I met, after I moved to Arkansas. His beautiful voice, resonants a pure, raw talent, as he reaches for that high note, and brings it on home, with a chilling finale. Add to that his abilities on Guitar, and Dobro, and it's no surprize that he was one of my first choices, when forming the house band, for the Bull Shoals Monday Night Jamboree. ~Bobby |
